A Genuine Blogging Announcement

Arugula, Radish & Toasted Almond Salad: a tribute to my summer column!

Pig ears and craft beers abound! This summer, I’ll be the guest blogger for The Genuine Kitchen, the amazing blog for The Genuine Hospitality Group, aka Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink (Miami & Grand Cayman) and Harry’s Pizzeria, home of Michael Schwartz and Hedy Goldsmith.

Check out my column, “Bread & Butter”, every Friday with The Genuine Kitchen, featuring what’s going on behind the scenes at Michael’s Genuine in Miami. It’s all about what MGFD does best, keeping it Genuine and making delicious food. I’m thrilled to be contributing to such a great team. It’s truly an honor.

So, with that, hop on over to the TGK blog and check out my very first post, “A Sweeter Smoker with the Genuine: Hedy’s Treats Feature Smoked Chocolate and Candied Bacon” about what’s going on in that very sweet pastry department.

Oh, this great news also means I’m going to have to pause my video challenge for a little while. And, in terms of the pictured arugula, radish and toasted almond salad, well I recently had an amazing meal at MGFD MIA and fell in love with a plate of Georgia peaches, with radishes, basil, feta and almonds. I took the idea home with this salad, so please consider it a pictured, edible tribute to my very exciting summer column!
